I have had some version of this smoothie for breakfast most mornings for about five years, and I never get tired of it! It is the perfect combination of blueberry, peanut butter, and cinnamon. The bananas and oat milk give it a delicious, creamy texture. I’ve added a variety of seeds and some greens to start my day off on a healthier note.
This smoothie is accidentally vegan — I am not vegan, but my preferred breakfast just happens to be. You could also make it gluten-free by using a gluten-free oat milk, or you could accommodate a peanut allergy by substituting almond butter.
Blueberry Peanut Butter Smoothie
This creamy smoothie will start your day off right with blueberries, banana, peanut butter, and some greens. Add in cinnamon and some seeds for a nutrient boost.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup blueberries frozen
- 1/2 cup spinach or kale frozen
- 1/2 banana sliced & frozen
- 2 tbsp peanut butter creamy
- 1 cup oat milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tsp cacao nibs
- 1 tsp hemp seeds
- 1 tsp flax seeds
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender. If you want a thicker smoothie, don't add the water yet.
- Blend until smooth. Add additional water and re-blend if the smoothie is too thick.
